Child & Youth Programs
Our programs for children, youth, and teens are rooted in connection to each other and nature through experience, story, song, and art. We host school-age summer and vacation day camps and teen summer programs.
We offer powerful culturally rich and multi-aged programs. We welcome children, youth, and leaders who cocreate through nature, music, and arts explorations. We cultivate an inclusive environment of joyful belonging and compassion where everyone learns and discovers in friendship.
Our programs are accessible to a diverse community of learners, their families, and their cultures. Thanks to the generous support of Monadnock Developmental Services we joyfully welcome children of all abilities.

Teen Programs
Our teen camp programs are a full and easy-going mix of outdoors and artsy fun. Our leaders co-create much of the time together with the teens allowing for the energy and the creativity of the individuals and the group to shine.
Tuition is $300 - $600 depending on the program.
We also offer a Counselor in Training program which is a combination of working with young campers, getting a glimpse into the field of environmental education, and feeling the excitement of awakening that happens for campers with their support. Please reach out to Eleanor if your teen is interested. eleanor@thorchardschool.org

School Vacation Camps
Over vacation weeks in February and April we make delicious snacks and pizza, cocreate arts and drama, explore sustainable energy systems in wind, water, and solar. We go sledding, trek winter woods, experience community service and keep journals and write gratitudes. In Spring we plant seeds.
$200 - $300/week
