    Art Classes

    Classes led by resident artist Sammy and local artists in various disciplines. Join us to skill build, learn, express, destroy, create, remake, art!

    Preschool Co-Op

    The co-op meets Monday - Wednesday mornings from 8am - 12pm for play, snack, outside time and circle time. Contact Laurel Iselin for more information at mtinlaurel@gmail.com.

    Shape Note Sing

    A tradition with rich history, aimed at bringing community together and singing in four-part harmony. This is traditionally participatory, rather than performance music, with singers facing each other and taking turns leading songs. Join us on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of each month.

Some individuals are holding items like knitting materials, while others have snacks and drinks. The setting is informal and cozy.

    Mending Night

    A gathering on the first Wednesday of each month through the winter to mend our broken and torn things and feed our winter need for comfort and connection. Bring your mending pile, your knitting, and your stitching; and maybe a snack to share.

    Lantern Walk

    An annual community celebration of the light within and our kinship with all life on the planet. An opportunity to sing and bask in the simple beauty of story and song in a community of all ages and stages. Join us in early November for this unique and special festival.

    Yoga

    We come together to breathe, stretch, play, and practice bringing awareness to the present moment experience of our mind and body. Check our calendar for current class offerings.

    Clothing Swap

    Each Spring, we gather to swap garments new and old. Volunteers always welcomed to help organize and distribute clothing. Check back for more information!

    Garden Cooperative

    Restoring the commons through community gardening.

    Make Something

    Makers gather to create on the second Friday of each month from late fall through spring. Open to all, email andrea@theorchardschool.org to get on the contact list for each month’s gathering.

    May Festival

    An annual gathering to celebrate Spring with Morris dancers, songs and dance around the Maypole, Quaker City pansies, and tea and snacks!

    Seed Swap

    An annual event in March to gather and share seeds and dreams of the return of the plants after a long winter.
